The Ghanaian Union in Thailand (G-Union) will host a professional development webinar titled “Teaching Reading and Writing to Low-Proficiency Learners: Practical Strategies for Real Classroom Impact” on Saturday, 3 October 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thailand time via Google Meet.
According to the official event poster, the session will feature Mr. Rashid A. Asare, EdTech Chair, AI Educator, Educational Technology Advocate and Classroom-Innovation practitioner. The programme is timely for teachers working with learners who require additional literacy and language support, as reading and writing proficiency forms a foundation for participation across the curriculum.

UNESCO Bangkok identifies literacy as an important component of equitable education and lifelong learning, while its teacher-development work emphasizes improving both pre-service and in-service teacher training across the Asia-Pacific region.

The webinar also complements Thailand's continuing efforts to strengthen educational quality and learner outcomes.
