Ghanaian Union in Thailand to Host Major Webinar on Artificial Intelligence Integration in Education

The Ghanaian Union in Thailand (G-Union) has announced a high-impact educational webinar titled “Integrating AI in the Classroom”, scheduled for Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM (Thailand Time GMT+7). The virtual event aims to equip educators, students, and education stakeholders with practical knowledge on the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in modern teaching and learning environments. Organizers describe the webinar as a timely initiative responding to the rapid transformation of global education systems through emerging technologies.

The upcoming webinar comes at a critical moment as schools and institutions worldwide increasingly adopt AI-powered tools for teaching, assessment, lesson planning, and student engagement. Education experts warn that without proper understanding and responsible implementation, the digital divide between technologically advanced classrooms and underserved communities could continue to widen. The forum is therefore expected to provide educators with accessible strategies for integrating AI safely, ethically, and effectively into classroom instruction.

Although the event focuses on education technology, organizers emphasize that public awareness and digital safety remain central themes of the discussion. Concerns surrounding misinformation, data privacy, academic integrity, and overreliance on automated systems have become major global debates in the education sector. The webinar will address practical measures educators can adopt to protect learners while maximizing the benefits of AI-enhanced learning systems.

The initiative also aligns with broader global conversations among governments and educational authorities regarding AI governance in schools. International organizations such as UNESCO and ministries of education across several countries have recently called for balanced AI policies that encourage innovation while safeguarding students and educators. The Ghana Union in Thailand says the webinar reflects its commitment to empowering diaspora communities through knowledge-sharing, professional development, and future-focused educational dialogue.

Leading the session will be Mr. Rashid A. Asare (T. Rash), an AI educator, educational technology advocate, classroom innovation specialist, and educational psychologist. Drawing from his expertise in AI-driven learning systems and classroom innovation, the speaker is expected to provide practical demonstrations, real-world examples, and actionable insights for teachers seeking to modernize their instructional methods. Participants will also have opportunities to engage in discussions and ask questions during the live webinar session.

As anticipation builds ahead of the event, the Ghana Union in Thailand is encouraging educators, innovators, and change-makers to participate actively in what is expected to be one of the community’s most impactful educational webinars of the year. Organizers believe the knowledge shared during the session could help shape smarter classrooms, strengthen digital literacy, and prepare educators for the future of learning in an increasingly AI-driven world.
